hello frends!2day I am writing 4 the parents having SINGLE CHILD .We parents r very possessive & protective for our child;we pamper them a lot & sometimes we are unaware of the fact that the unique sense of affection is strangling the talent of our child silently.
last night as I had read A short story so dreamt the same about  my daughter(who is away 4rom the home).she was in a queue.all the girls taking a lighted candle in their hands were moving towards an altar.Everyone’s candle was lighted up except the one in my daughter’s hand.I asked the reason.she said“maa,I light it up everytime but your tears douse the flame;I tried to rekindle it but..! it will not lit until your tears stop flowing.”
my eyes opened…..I was shaken…my throat was dry….after few minutes I realised it was mere a dream but I was compelled to give a thought to my daughter’s condition ONCE AGAIN.she has her own
ambition,dream,talent….. I have no right to strangle these only for the sake of my desire to see her very close to me
here is one poem SILENT CALL (मूक पुकार) for the parents having experience similar to me.

है सम्पूर्णता से बढ़ने की चाह,मुझे बोनसाई मत बनाओ
न करो इतना प्रयोग मुझपर,विरुद्ध प्रकृति के मत जाओ
……

मेरी जड़ों को क्यूँ नहीं  माटी के गहन तम में समाने देती
सबसे ऊँची शाखा बन क्यूँ न उजाले में नभ के आने देती
……

माँ  उंचाई नभ की मुझे तुम,आज भरपूर माप लेने दो
सीमित न करो गमले में शाखाओं को विस्तार पाने दो
…..

मैं भी विस्तृत और घना बन शीतल साया देना चाहती हूँ
नन्हे बीज से प्रस्फुटित हो,विशाल काया लेना चाहती हूँ
…..

कुदरत ने भेजा धरा पर मुझको संपूर्ण विस्तार करने को
और अपनी ही प्रकृति संग जग के कण-कण से जुड़ने को
…..

बुद्धिजीवी,प्रयोगधर्मी माँ,करबद्ध समक्ष मैं हूँ आज खडी
पूछ रही  कुदरती नियम के सदैव विपक्ष में क्यों तू अड़ी?
…..

बोनसाई बन सर्वस्व देने की कितनी भी कोशिश करुँगी
माँ,फिर भी बोलो कैसे साया मैं विशाल तरु सा दे सकुंगी
…..

वजूद मेरा ज़रूर रहेगा पर यह स्वाभाविकता हट जायेगी
विस्तार होगा जहाँ संकीर्ण मेरी वास्तविकता मिट जायेगी
…..

बोनसाई बनाकर मुझे बता दो तुम क्या हासिल कर पाओगी
विस्तार मेरा देख पाने को आज नहीं तो कल तरस जाओगी
